Image Editing

**Image Editing
Within this semester of Info. Tech I learned how to use different websites to edit and "spice up" images for a better out come. I was already learning Photoshop in another class but these are online, free and (for most of them) you don't need to wait to install it. Four of these programs were "Iphoto, PicMonkey, BeFunky and Microsoft Word.

Iphoto: iPhoto is a pre installed program on the Apple Macintosh computers that allows you to take, edit and use photos already saved as a file on your computer.

Pros:
*fixes images and enhances photos
*pre installed to Macs
*Visual filters to add effects to photos

Cons:
*Uploading files can be a pain
*Exclusive to Apple computers
*frustrating to use at first
*limits to effects to add

PicMonkey: PicMonkey.com is an online app that allows one to edit photos. it doesn't require payment and lets you upload photos to post on social media websites like Facebook and Instagram.

Pros:
Easy, free, and fun!
*so many options to choose from!
*two words. space filter

Cons:
*some filters require payment *sometimes webpage is a little messed up

BeFunky: BeFunky.com is an online app that, much like PicMonkey, allows you to edit photos. its pretty much the same thing to be honest.

Pros:
*quicker and easier to use
*more options to choose from

Cons:
*advertisements...
too many advertisements...
*no space filter

Microsoft Word: To be honest future me you must know this one, if you don't thats ok neither do I. but if you go to the toolbar and click "wrap to text" and "behind text" you can work with it better!

Pros:
*most common image editor besides photoshop
* you may already have Word installed
*can also create Graphs and Charts

Cons:
*Image tends to mess up document when first uploaded
*image size will vary, sometimes it will be too big

I will most likely be using PicMonkey, I had the easiest experience using it and remembering the URL. the photos turn out great and saving your file is easiest to me! it walks you through each step and gives you enough liberty at the same time.

Command+C =copy
Command+V =paste
Command+Shift+4 =screenshot
Command+Z =delete
